PATTANAM PAKODA

Pattanam Pakoda is a tea time snack,crispy on the outside and very soft inside.Unlike ordinary pakoda it is made with roasted gram flour and rice flour with onions and spices.I have also added powdered peanuts for crunchiness.Ordinary Onion Pakoda uses gram flour and rice flour.I don’t know why it got it’s name but I presume it is because it is sold in city shops.Pattanam is city in Tamil so that’s the story.Anyway I made it because I love all kinds of pakodas and my husband is also fond of them.Unlike other pakodas this is slightly round and bigger in shape….
