Ingredients

Instructions
Soak rice in water.
Powder jaggery and adding water make a syrup.
Dissolve saffron strands in milk.
Strain rice and adding water and milk place it in a vessel.
Pressure cok rice.Mash well with the help of a laddle.
Add saffron strand with milk.
Add strained jaggery syrup.Mix well and add ghee.
Transfer the entire contents to a pan.Add more ghee if needed. Switch off the flame.
Roast in ghee cashewnuts and raisins and drop in the akkaravadisal.
Delicious Akkaravadisal is ready for offeribg to GOD.

You can add edibile camphor for that peculicar aroma.
Add ghee as given,other wise it would be a compromise on taste.
Adding safron enhances the flavour.
Cook well till the desirable consistency is reached.
