Ingredients

  1. Boil and cube the potatoes.
  2. Mash them nicely.
  3. Add red chilli powder,amchur powder,coriander powder, chaat masala and salt.
  4. Add corn flour.
  5. Mix well to form a dough.
  6. Divide it in to small balls.
  7. In a tawa add oil and heat.Make patties out of the dough and place it on the tawa.
  8. Now flip to the other side and roast till golden brown..
  9. Slice tomato,onion and cucumber.
  10. Cut burger bun in between.
  11. Smear mayonnaise.
  12. Place tikki on one side of the burger.
  13. Place cut roundels of cucumber, onion and tomato.
  14. Place the lettuce leaf now.
  15. Place the other side of the burger on top of this and insert a tooth oick or some fruit fork, so that it is easy to eat.
  16. Serve Alu Tikki Burger with spiralized potato chips or finger chips.
Recipe Notes

You can smear green chutney or sweet chutney on the burger for Indian taste.

You can slice carrots or beetroots and place them in between.

Serve immediately as this tends to get soggy after a while.
