  1. In a pan dry roast tur dal.
  2. Transfer to a blender.
  3. Powder it nicely.
  4. Now dry roast urad dal.
  5. Transfer it to a blender.
  6. Powder it smooth.
  7. In a wide bowl add,rice flour,urad and tur dal powder,white sesame,salt,red chilli powder,asafoetida and butter.
  8. Adding water knead to a soft dough.
  9. Use the press of the following type.
  10. Heat oil in a pan and squeeze out the mixture.
  11. Once golden brown take it out.
  12. Place it on a tissue to remove excess oil.
  13. Enjoy it with your favorite cuppa.

Notes

Adding a teaspoon of hot oil to the dough will add crispness.

You can add pepper powder also.

Store the snack in an air tight container.
