Gram Flour / Besan

Butter / ghee
3/4

sugar

cardamom
powder

Almonds pistachios
and (chopped)

Instructions
Melt butter to ghee or if using ghee pour it in a pan.Add gram flour by slightly roasting it to a golden brown, making sure it doesnu2019t turn black.
Mix well without lumps so that a nice crumbly texture is formed.
Mix unsweetened khova and mix well.
In another pan maker a syrup with sugar and water and boil till 2 thread consistency comes.Also add the cardamom powder now.
Now add the gram flour mixture and mix without forming lumps.
When it starts leaving the sides of the pan switch off the flame.
Transfer it to a ghee greased tray.
Immediately add chopped nuts so that they stick to the fudge while still hot.Cut into 1 inch squared shapes.

Instead of khova you could use milk powder as well.
You can keep this sweet in an air tight container and keep it refrigerated for about 2 weeks.
Usually it takes 2-3 hours for the fudge to set,so don’t be in a hurry to take them out.
