In a vessel add rice flour and sesame oil. Pour hot water over it.
Knead well and mix to form a soft dough.
In a pan add water and moong dal.
Cover with a lid and cook.
Moong dal is cooked.
Strain the water.
In a blender add cooked moong dal, powdered jaggery,cardamom powder and grated coconut.
Grind to a fine paste.
Make small balls out of the filling. If you find the filling watery add it in a pan and cook to remove excess moisture. You can add a teaspoon of ghee to make it combine well.
Make rice dough balls as well.
Make a cup like shape out of the dough.
Place the filling in it.
Close it and seal like a modak.
Make al the modaks similarly. In a greased idli plate place all the modaks in it.
