  1. In a pan dry roast the oats,carefully.
  2. Transfer to a blender once cooled.
  3. Powder it finely.
  4. Dry roast wheat rava in the same pan till golden brown.
  5. In a pan add oil,mustard,channa and urad dal,chopped green chillies and grated ginger.
  6. Add grated carrot.
  7. In a vessel add powdered oats,roasted wheat rava,the temperings and coriander leaves.Also add sour curd,fruit salt and salt.
  8. Mix well and set aside.
  9. Grease te idli mould with oil and pour in the batter.
  10. Steam for 10 minutes.
  11. After 10 minutes check and take out.
  12. Serve hot with any chutney.I served with tomato chutney.

Notes

You can use semolina in place of wheat rava.

You can add cahew nuts while tempering.

You can add capsicum or green peas to make the idli more colourful and healthier.
