Ingredients

  1. Boil potatoes.
  2. Peel and mash them.
  3. Add maida.
  4. Add salt.
  5. Add butter and black pepper powder.
  6. Add oil.
  7. Make a soft and smooth dough.
  8. Make small balls out of the dough.
  9. Flatten each ball and make an impression at one end as shown.
  10. Similarly make all gnocchi balls and keep them ready.
  11. Boil water.
  12. Add the gnocchis.
  13. Cook till done.
  14. Remove once cooked.
  15. Allow it to cool.
  16. In a pan add oil and ad cooked gnocchis.
  17. Add white pasta sauce.
  18. Mix well.
  19. Ensure all gnocchi balls are coated with sauce.
  20. Serve hot.
Recipe Notes

You can make pesto sauce and try out this gnocchi. The pesto can be either coriander based or basil based with walnuts or almonds.

Olive oil can be used to enhance flavour.

You can add chilli flakes on top while garnishing.
