Ingredients

mustard

urad dal

asafoetida

sprig
curry leaves
to taste
salt

lemon juice
Instructions
Soak rajma overnight.
Pressure cook rajma for 3 whistles and strain the water.
Grind the ingredients given in the to grind table.
In a pan add oil followed by mustard,urad dal and asafoetida.
Add boiled rajma and curry leaves.
Now add the ground paste.
Mix well.
Add grated coconut.
Add lemon juice and salt.
Toss well.
Rajma Sundal is ready.

In place of jeera you can add omam or ajwain.
Adding ginger aids digestion.
Adding lemon adds a nice twist.
