  1. Soak tur dal, channa dal, urad dal and red chillies in water. Soak wheat berries in water in another vessel.
  2. After an hour strain water and place the dals and wheat berries in the blender along with red chillies.
  3. Grind nicely.
  4. Transfer the contents to a vessel.Add salt, asafoetida and turmeric powder.
  5. Add chopped onions and curry leaves.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Add a little oil on the tawa and heat it and spread the batter on the tawa a little thicker than the dosa.
  8. Flip it and roast.
  9. Serve it hot with jaggery, ghee or sambhar.
Recipe Notes

You can add fenugreek leaves, grated carrots, shredded cabbage or any cut vegetable of your choice to the batter.

You can use wheat rava in place of wheat berry.

You can make thinner version of this crepe also. You can do so by adding a little water to the batter and mixing and pouring it.
