Tofu Manchurian/Kids Recipes/Soya Recipes
On the publication of soya recipes in Kungumam Thozhi,I made this tofu manchurian.It is always a panner manchurian or a gobi based one that my daughter loves,this was the first time I made something with tofu as a manchurian.Not to mention,tofu has slight different taste from paneer,but it a very healthy option indeed.Also it was easy to make and with the available ingredients at home,I could make it in no time.Tofu as we all know is made from soya milk,which has many good health benefits.For those who are allergic to milk and it’s products this is a boon.In place of all paneer recipes,you can make them with tofu and enjoy.Do try out this new recipe of mine and send in your feedbacks.

- 1/2 cup maida |
- 3 tsps corn flour |
- water | as neded
- to taste salt |
- 1/2 tsp ginger Grated |
- 1/2 tsp garlic Grated |
- 100 gms tofu |
- 1 onion |
- 1 capsicum |
- 1/2 bunch spring onion |
- 1 tsp tomato sauce |
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce |
- 1/2 tsp Chilli Sauce Hot |
- to taste salt |
Ingredients

- Take all the ingredients in the to make batter table.
- Make a batter without any lumps.
- Cut tofu in cubes in equal sizes.
- Dip the tofu pieces in the batter.
- Heat oil in a kadai and dep fry all the tofu dipped in batter
- Fry till golden brown and take them out.
- Keep aside the fried tofu pieces for later use.
- Chop onions,spring onion ad capsicum.
- Take a pan and add oil.Once heated add chopped onions and wait till they turn translucent
- Now add spring onion and capsicum.
- Add now tomato sauce, hot chilly sauce and soya sauce one by one
- Mix well and let the flavours infuse.
- Add now fried tofu pieces and mix well
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve immediately to enjoy Tofu Manchurian
- Your kids will love this.
Notes.
You can add white part of spring onions for more taste.
You can add garlic sauce if you want.
Adding green chilli sauce is also other option.
