ONION PAKODA
When rains pour down making pakodas are always a common thing in our home. When he finds the weather cloudy hubby will always ask me to make his favorite pakoda. These fritters with onion tastes yum as a tea time snack or as a starter for your lunch or dinner menu.It is a very easy and tasty munchy snack. The trick to a good batter for making pakodas is that you don’t add water to it.Yes.You heard it right. The water from the onion is just enough for the mixture to bind the ingredients together.I have seen many pakoda with names such as thhool pakoda which is crunchy and made in big pieces and another one called medhu pakoda which is soft and gooey in the centre. This one is a simple crispy pakoda which I made last week when once again rain god blessed us with thundershowers and Ravi was happy as well.He not only got his share but asked me to reserve some batter for next day’s office lunch box.Let us see how this is made ..
