ROSE MILK WITH HOMEMADE ROSE SYRUP
Rose milk is one the favourite recipes which is so comforting and ideal for this summer. In many restaurants it is served I have had many times enjoyed this drink. But to make it at home with home made rose syrup is a real treat I gave to all at home.Have you experienced the aroma of rose essence? It is so good and when it combines with milk it adds to the flavour and makes it doubly awesome.

There are many syrups available in the market and I even make fresh fruit juice for summer, but this one is different and makes the occasion special.I have tried rose milk with store bought syrups before, but this year wanted to make it by myself.I made a small batch and stored in the fridge and we all enjoyed. Now over to the recipe…
- Take sugar in a vessel.Add water and boil till it in a medium
- Wait till it starts to bubble up.
- Add rose essence.Boil till reaches a thick consistency
- Add rose syrup.
- Once it reaches a thick consistency, switch off the flame.
- Store in a bottle and preserve in fridge
- Add in a tumbler of boiled and cooled milk 2-3 tsp of rose milk.Mix well
- Mix well and your rose milk is ready.
- Serve chilled with cubes on top
Notes.
You can make popsicles by freezing the rose milk. But for that you have to boil milk and reduce it to half the quantity and proceed.
Serve it super chilled as that gives more taste.
Rose syrup can be kept in the fridge for more than a month.
Boil milk and then cool it before adding rose syrup.
Use high fat milk for tasty results.
