FRUIT PARFAIT
The first time I had fruit parfait was in a resort in bangalore which we visited 2 years ago.The fruits and yogurt mix with granola or cornflakes or crushed biscuits one after the other is called parafit.You can have numerous variations of fruits and toppings with these.Tastes great for breakfast or even as a dessert it needs very little time to prepare and is loved by kids and all.This recipe I sent for 25 snacks which got published in malligai magal,a tamil monthly magazine.I tried with granola,cut fruits and thick set curd. Serve this always chilled .Do try this for your family and let me know..

- 1/2 cup yogurt Thick
- 2 tsp sugar (powdered)
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Ingredients

- Take yogurt and strain.It should be really thick.
- Add it to a bowl.Add vanilla essence and powdered sugar.
- In a tall glass add museli at the bottom.
- Add yogurt above it.
- Add cut fruits now.Repeat till you reach the top of the glass.
- After arranging this keep it in fridge and serve chilled.
- Enjoy for breakfast or as a dessert.
Notes
You can add black grapes,apples,pears or mangoes.
You can add crushed digestive biscuits in place of museli or cornflakes.
Addition of walnuts,almonds and raisins adds to the taste.
