Soya Chunks Potato/Soya Recipes
Soya chunks potato is a recipe loaded with the goodness of protein and apt for a perfect filling meal.It tastes great with al roti varieties and you can try with pulaos too.Iam a not a big fan of soya,but seeing it’s health benefits have started including in my diet and for the family nowadays.This recipe is taken from tarla dalal and I always like to experiment in food,specially for my daughter.This is one such recipe I made for her lunch 2 weeks back with rotis.I have used potato with soya chunks here ,but you might try with other vegetables too.Adding colourful veggies is an healthy option to feed the kids.So when you have a pack of soya chunks next time,try this delicious sidedish ad please your family with a protein treat.

- In a pan add water and put soya chunks to it .
- Cook till soft.
- Chop onion and tomato,boil potatoes and peel their skin and keep ready.
- Add oil in a pan add oil and jeera.
- When onion has turned pink add chopped tomato.
- Add corn flour mixed in water.
- Add potatoes.
- Add soya chunks and salt to taste.
- Toss well so the flavours get amalgamated easily.
- Serve hot with rotis or phulkas
Notes
Squeeze water well before adding to the pan.
Ad red chilli powder in place of green chillies as a variation
Adding coconut milk in place of corn flour mixture also adds to the taste.
