SOYA DATES LADOO
Today’s post also happens to be a dessert and that too a nutritious one.This is purely an imaginative and born out of innovation recipe.This one was made by me for a magazine contribution which included Soya recipes.Among many starters,main course and side dishes with Soya,I made this ladoo which was not only quick and easy to make but tasted awesome as well.I have made this with Soya flour,easily available in the market nowadays.But you can follow the same procedure using powdered Soya chunks.
Whenever you are in a craving mood for a sweet try this one out.As you would see the ingredients are readily available at home and requires no pre planning and pre preparation.As holidays are in season,I am sure kids would be delighted to have these cute little delights.I have used dates and tutti frutti for a change in place of usual dry fruits and nuts.So when you want that extra protein you know what to make for that extra muscle power.You can also use Besan or gram flour along with Soya flour,but since i was concentrating on soya only,I did not add.You could also add dessicated coconut powder also.Scroll down for an easy peasy fuss free dessert..

- 1/2 cup Soya Flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 6 Dates
- 1 tsp tutti frutti
- 1/4 tsp cardamom Powder
Ingredients

- In a pan add little ghee.Add soya flour and roast till golden brown.Allow it to cool.
- Add sugar in a blender.
- Powder it nicely.
- In a wide bowl add roasted soya flour and powdered sugar.
- Keep ready chopped dates and tutti frutti.
- Add these to the soya flour,sugar mixture and cardamom powder.Also add ghee.
- Mix well and make ladoos.
- Delicious Soya Dates Ladoos are ready.
Notes
You could add any nuts if you want.
Adding rose essence also gives aroma.
If you like you could add choco chips too.
