TOFU NOODLES/SOYA RECIPES
Soya based products are becoming increasingly popular these days and is most liked by kids too.They are filled with proteins which plays a great part in the growing years of children.Tofu is one such soya by product.It is made from soya milk.Just as paneer is made from normal milk,tofu is made from soya milk.Forms a great option for lactose resistant kids.I made noodles with tofu last week for a change and was much appreaciated by daughter and she wanted me to pack some for college any other day.I tried this from a cook book and it needs little time to make and tastes yum yum.See recipe down below and surprise you kiddos..

- 1 small packet Noodles Hakka
- 100 grams tofu
- 1 onion
- fistful cabbage a
- 1 carrot
- 6 tsp spring onion
- 1/2 tsp Soya Sauce
- 2 tsp tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chilly Sauce
- 1/2 tsp ginger grated
- 1 pod garlic crushed
- to taste salt

- Chop veggies in juliennes.Cut tofu in cubes.
- Cut tofu in cubes.
- Boil hakka noodles in water with a drop of oil,so that they don't stick to one another.
- Strain and keep aside.
- Take a pan add a little oil and add ginger and garlic.
- Add chopped onions and fry till pink.
- Add rest of the veggies and reserve some spring onions for garnishing and cook till soft and tender.
- Add soya sauce,chilli sauce and salt.Toss well.
- Add cubed tofu.
- Add noodles and tomato sauce
- Mix well.
- Tofu noodles is ready to be relished.
Notes
You can add veggies like capsicum and beans.
You can even add sprouts.
Adding chilly sauce is as per your liking.
Add salt carefully as soya sauce already contains salt.
